What Should We Do With Christ?

Summary

What should we do? All people should honor the Son as they honor the Father (John 5:23).

If God is infinite, and He is, one sin on our part against Him is an infinite sin, and that infinite sin demands an infinite payment. An angel cannot give an infinite payment. A mere man cannot give an infinite payment. Only God Himself can give an infinite payment for an infinite sin.

What do we do naturally? We honor ourselves.

If you have been saved by our God today you should say, “Why was I saved when that person hasn’t been saved?” There is only one right answer to that question. “The Son gives life to whom he wills” (John 5:21).

How can we do what we should do?

If there has been a supernatural work in us by God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, we can now do what we should do?

Honor the Lord Jesus Christ by:

• Believing in Him today.
• Thanking Him for His undeserved favor.
• Praising Him for His grace.
• Proclaiming to others what He has done in your life.
• Obeying what you learn of Him from His Word.
