Summary

All Christians agree that evangelism is an essential part of New Testament church life. Since evangelism is the doorway to the church through which every member has entered, we understand its importance. However, what evangelism involves and how it is to be carried out are less clear in our minds. Furthermore, a basic grasp of the New Testament data regarding evangelism is rarely articulated. This is an attempt to correlate and synthesize the New Testament texts that speak to the church’s evangelism.
