Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is superior to God’s prophets and servants, the angels. If the Law revealed by God’s prophets and angels punished those who disobeyed, we must not turn away from faith in God’s Son. His incarnation and suffering for sin makes him the perfect Brother Priest.

The Jews were up to their same plots, the officials were up to their same tricks, Paul was committed to the same gospel, and Christ is still advancing his Word through his servants.

Jesus’ followers have trials. But Jesus is worthy of our trust. We must persevere in faith in Jesus Christ. We persevere because Christ is preserving us.
