Summary
We start off this year with a great reason to remember that God is all-powerful and merciful and worthy of our praise! David sang, “As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my deliverer; do not delay, O my God” (Ps 40:13). God the Son helps the helpless. Disease and death pictured the ravages of sin. Healing pictured the power of God to save. God can give those who are spiritually dead new life to believe in him.
