  • We recognize that having video sermons every week is not the same as a church service and we are not looking to replicate every facet of church life online. We do want to continue to be a pillar and support of the truth in our community and we are thankful for the opportunities we have to be that.

  • Let me continue to encourage all of us to consider how we might show love to our neighbors. Certainly continue in prayer and consider having a prayer meeting with someone over the phone.
    • Consider what help you can offer for those who are most vulnerable to contracting this virus—perhaps offer to handle grocery pick-up, yard work, etc.
  • I trust the afternoon meditations have been encouraging to you. We will continue those this week and I’m looking forward to sharing something I’ve been thinking on since this past Tuesday.

  • Due to the stay-at-home policy which extends through April 6, the camp cleanup day on April 4 has been canceled. We are tentatively planning to utilize the other Saturdays in April for camp cleanup.

  • Also, our April 5 (Palm Sunday) gathering has been canceled. We are hoping to be able to gather together soon, but it will be at least another Sunday before that is advisable.
    • Any adjustments to the schedule will be shared on our website and Facebook page.
  • Elder/Deacon elections are postponed until our gatherings resume.

  • Let’s be in prayer for those who have already been directly impacted by this virus and ask God to show his power greatly through his people at this time in history as he has done so many times before and as he promises to do in the future.

  • Let me encourage you to read 2 Samuel 7 tonight in preparation for our message tomorrow – posted by 10:45 am on Facebook and YouTube.
