In Psalm 11, David’s counselors gave him bad advice about how he should respond to his enemies. David responded well by emphasizing what he knew to be true about his God, which is critical for believers to do today.
David had done nothing but serve his king loyally and bravely. His greatest threat came from within the kingdom.

God doesn’t challenge men to be just good, moral examples, but to be faithful and live righteously.
