With a desire to honor our governing authorities for the Lord’s sake (1 Peter 2:13-17) and to have a testimony of doing what is honorable in the sight of God and men (2 Corinthians 8:21; 1 Corinthians 10:31-33) while demonstrating love to our neighbors (both in our assembly as well as those outside), the elders have decided to suspend all public gatherings for the time being. We will continue to monitor the situation and evaluate resuming gatherings. We look forward to once again being able to meet together and we pray that it will be soon.
Until we resume gatherings, we will continue to post sermons on our website and Facebook page as a source of instruction and encouragement. We urge all to spend increased time in prayer and scripture-meditation. Please also consider how you might use available means to stir one another up to love and good works.
Do not hesitate to contact your elder or one of the Pastors if you have questions about this or any circumstances which require extra help. We are praying for growth in Christlikeness through this new challenge and trust that God’s will is being done in each of our hearts.
God bless you!
